About
Alexandra Palace is a Grade II listed entertainment and sports venue in north London that opened in 1873. It housed the BBC's pioneering television service from 1936 and now hosts exhibitions, concerts, and conferences in its Great Hall and West Hall.
The ice skating rink is the real draw for children aged 5+. The ice regularly hosts skating sessions and competitions. The venue also hosts events and concerts. The building itself is impressive but the interior can feel corporate. Combine skating with a visit to Alexandra Park.
