A small museum at the Brunel Engine House in Rotherhithe documenting the Thames Tunnel, which opened in 1843 as the first underwater tunnel built anywhere in the world. The Engine House was designed by Marc Isambard Brunel and includes the Engine House, Tunnel Shaft, and rooftop garden.
