A Grade II listed Georgian terraced house at 18 Folgate Street in Spitalfields created by Dennis Severs as a historical time capsule. From 1979 to 1999, Severs recreated the rooms as an artistic evocation of what life would have been like for a Huguenot silk weaver family, described as a theatrical imagining rather than historically accurate recreation.
