A Grade II listed Georgian terraced house in Spitalfields that has been recreated as a 'historical imagination' of life for a Huguenot silk weaver family, designed as an evocative theatrical experience rather than strict historical accuracy.
The theatrical Victorian recreation appeals to imaginative children aged 8+. The candlelit, silent tour is immersive and unusual. Best for older children and those not put off by authentic period gloom and smells. Very limited opening hours (evenings and weekends only) require planning.
