About
Fulham Palace is a Grade I listed complex with medieval origins on the north bank of the River Thames that served as the principal residence of the Bishop of London from the 11th century until 1973. It now operates as a museum documenting its history, with restored historic rooms and a botanical garden.
Free entry and the botanical gardens are the main draw. Children aged 6+ can run about in the grounds. The palace interior is modest and not a major attraction unless you're interested in ecclesiastical history. Good combined with a Thames Path walk. Café on site.
