About

The Garden Museum is housed in a Victorian church on the south bank of the River Thames near Lambeth Palace. It contains collections of gardening tools, art, and historical items, including a recreation of a 17th-century gardener's collection, and hosts rotating exhibitions about plants and gardens.

The recreated Tradescant's Ark and historical gardening tools engage children aged 6+. The riverside location is pleasant. Temporary exhibitions change every six months, so content varies. Small but focused. Free entry for children under 7 makes it worthwhile if you're in the area.
