About
A museum in Mayfair housed in two adjacent townhouses on Brook Street. The museum displays period rooms on the first and second floors of the house where Handel lived from 1723 until his death in 1759, along with exhibition rooms dedicated to Jimi Hendrix, who lived in the adjacent building in the late 1960s. Handel composed most of his operas, oratorios and ceremonial music in his Brook Street home.
