About
A Town-class light cruiser built for the Royal Navy, now permanently moored as a museum ship on the River Thames near Tower Bridge in London and operated by the Imperial War Museum. Belfast served in World War II, the Korean War, and other overseas commissions before entering reserve in 1963 and opening to the public as a museum in 1971.
