About

A public library in the London Borough of Islington that opened in 1952 as one of London's first dedicated children's libraries. It reopened after renovations in 2008 and remains popular for school visits.

A dedicated children's library in Islington serving young readers and families. It holds books across the age range from picture books for toddlers through chapter books for primary school children. Regular storytimes and reading activities run throughout the week. The space is designed with children in mind, and staff know children's literature well. Best for ages 2-10, though families with children of all ages welcome.
