About
Located in Richmond's Old Town Hall near Richmond Bridge, the Museum of Richmond was formally opened by Queen Elizabeth II on 28 October 1988. It displays the history of Richmond, Kew, Petersham and Ham from medieval times to the present day, including 16th-century glass from Richmond Palace and a painting of Richmond Hill by Dutch artist Leonard Knyff. The museum offers temporary exhibitions, education activities, and a programme of talks.
