Queen's Gate House, formerly known as Baden-Powell House, is a conference centre in South Kensington that was built as a tribute to Lord Baden-Powell, the founder of Scouting. Opened in 1961 by Queen Elizabeth II, it previously served as headquarters for The Scout Association and provided hostel accommodation.
