A publicly funded national museum founded in 1857 on Exhibition Road in South Kensington, London, that offers free admission and attracts millions of visitors annually.

The best general museum for children aged 3-14. Hands-on galleries include flight, space, energy, and interactive labs. Free entry to most sections. Can easily spend a full day here. The IMAX and simulator rides cost extra but are worthwhile for older children.
