A Grade I listed Georgian house from around 1730 where American Founding Father Benjamin Franklin lived and worked for 17 years. The museum opened to the public in 2006.
The Georgian terraced house is historically interesting and small. Children aged 8+ learning about Benjamin Franklin or enjoying 18th-century architecture may engage. Limited opening (Friday–Sunday) requires planning. The house is not wheelchair accessible (noted in data). Expect a compact 45-minute visit.
